To the children we are known as Aunties. We feel this encourages them to think of us as an extension to their families and makes the prospect of leaving Mummy and Daddy to come to Nursery, not quite so daunting. Our staff to child ratio is, and always has been, above the legal requirement.

We feel that manners are very important. We actively encourage the children to say 'please' and 'thank you' and to show respect and consideration to their peers and adults. We ask the parents to support us by continuing this at home.

Each room has toys and equipment appropriate for the age of the children using it. Our furniture and toilets are at child height , helping to develop independence and a sense of achievement when the children complete tasks on their own.

At Rectory Lane Nursery we have an 'open house' policy where all visitors are welcomed, no appointment is necessary. Please come along for a visit or telephone us on 01438 746398 between 9am - 3.30pm.
