What Parents Say:

Jigsaws"Our daughter Jemma has been attending the Rectory Lane Nursery now for a year. In this time we have seen our daughter develop and grow. Her communication and social skills have really improved which we believe is a direct result of the fantastic environment developed by the "Aunties" at the Nursery. Regularly we are impressed with her artistic skills, imagination, desire to read and write and singing ability. We are convinced that Rectory Lane Nursery has had a significant part in the development of these areas for our daughter. Every nursery day is different and brings its own little story to share with us when she comes home. Learning needs are tailored to the individual and it is recognised when to move a child on to the next level of teaching and understanding as they are treated and viewed as individuals.

The Nursery is ideally located in secure grounds and fosters a fun and safe learning environment. We would happily recommend Rectory Lane Nursery to any parents thinking of putting their child in to nursery and will be putting our second child in to Rectory Lane Nursey as soon as she is old enough." - Jemma's Mum & Dad (aged 2)

"Rectory Lane is a lovely well run nursery with a really friendly and caring atmosphere. Our boys really enjoy going and they have settled in really quickly. We are really pleased with the progress our boys are making with speech and confidence.
The nursery staff are wonderful and always keep you updated on your children’s progress and development. I would recommend the nursery to any parent." - Thomas and Alfie's Mum & Dad

"I have known the nursery for over six years. I was working as a nanny for a family with two children who attended the nursery for three years. I had noticed a big change in the behaviour of the children and good manners. When they left the nursery they were both confident readers and also good writers. What I was very impressed with was the way they encourage healthy eating and extremely good manners as this is important as a parent. I now have children of my own and my four year old Bradley attends the nursery since January 08.

The aunties always cooperate with the parents and they inform you of daily routines which is very reassuring. Bradley has benefitted extremely from attending the nursery and has excellent social and behaviour skills thank to all the aunties.  I really like the fact that the children get a one to one so they get treated as individuals, as every child is different and has different needs. I highly recommend the nursery to any parent." - Bradley's Mum

"My shy little 2 year old has transformed into a confident, friendly and outgoing 4½ year old thanks to all the wonderful Aunties. The nursery has a relaxed and loving atmosphere and my daughter feels safe and at home here. Her favourite thing of all is proudly showing off the workbooks she has done with Auntie Sandra.  My daughter now sadly leaves to go to ‘Big’ School but leaves being able to read and write and do simple maths. The nursery has given so much and Abbie has learned a great deal from her time here so I will be sending my next child here when the time comes." - Abbie's Mumplaying doctors!

"It’s a fantastic environment which allows children to enjoy learning. The variety of activities engages their imaginations.
The staff are wonderful and loved by all the children. They are there to help the parents too, which is very reassuring." - William's Mum

'We would recommend Rectory Lane Nursery without hesitation to any prospective parents. The best thing about the Nursery is the staff who are kind, caring, enthusiatic and encouraging. They always have time to talk to us about how Thomas is getting on and work with us to help him develop. We couldn't be more happy with our choice for him." - Clare & Andy, parents of Thomas (aged 3)

"Fantastic learning environment, professional staff, structured timetable.
Good parent / staff relationships. Reading program commenced at a much earlier age than state schools. Excellent manners and discipline - best foundation a child can have prior to full time education." - Harrison's Mum

"The reason we recommend Rectory Lane Nursery is because we have trust in the good work they do and because we have seen so much change and progress in our son since he has been there. He has become more sociable and his speech has developed considerably. He also seems to be exploring his abilities, takes more initiative and makes effort to complete tasks.

'Aunties' at Rectory Lane Nursery helped Dominick adjust quickly and made him feel comfortable and content. There's a homely feeling at the Nursery, Aunties are very friendly and communicative. They always give a lot of feedback and information about ongoing matters at the Nursery as well as the kids' progress. Children are engaged into different activities every day, which combine learning and playing.

Finally, we think that, it is the people who work at the Nursery who make it a special place, with their enthusiasm and love for what they do. They teach children new skills, help them develop, teach them right and wrong, and combine all these with having lots of fun!" - Parents of Dominick age 2

"Sophia is very happy at Rectory Lane Nursery, she enjoys all of the activities and is learning to socialise with other children of her own age group. All of the staff are dedicated to the welfare and educational needs of the children and provide interesting and stimulating activities that are developing the children’s intellectual, physical and social skills. The nursery is in a good location with regard to the safety and seclusion of the children and is also very easy to access for parents who wish to continue on to their work place in the factory area or out of Stevenage via the A1(M) or A602." - Sophia's Grandparents
