Why Choose Us?

- Our purpose designed building provides a safe, secure and caring environment for your child to gain self-esteem and confidence.
See what parents think about us - Registered with Ofsted, we achieved a 'satisfactory' standard at our last inspection, with many areas classed as 'good'.
- While following the statutory Early Years Foundation Stages, Rectory Lane Nursery has maintained its private and independent status along with its unique qualities.
- We offer both morning and afternoon sessions with combinations available to suit individual requirements. Unlike many pre-schools, we do not close for half terms and stay open for much of the summer - see term dates
- We accept funding for three and four year olds. From the term after their third birthday each child is entitled to 15 hours (5 sessions) per week 'free'. This is for the duration of state school terms.
- Each child is treated as an individual and their unique needs catered for.

- Fully qualified and highly trained staff enable us to offer higher staff:child ratios than Ofsted's statutory requirements.
- We operate a waiting list for children not yet 2 years old. Once they are 2 they may begin Nursery as soon as a place becomes available, they are not restricted to starting at the beginning of term.
- We provide the best possible start for your child's future by promoting self-awareness and an eagerness to learn, with opportunities to explore and try exciting new experiences.
